Privacy Policy

Effective June 21, 2026. This policy describes how BAQI handles information connected to the BAQI website, product, admin tools, analytics systems, support workflows, and merchant accounts.

Overview

BAQI provides ecommerce software for merchants building, launching, and operating online stores. This Privacy Policy explains what information BAQI collects when someone visits BAQI marketing pages, creates an account, configures a store, connects payments, or interacts with analytics and support tools.

This policy applies to information BAQI controls for its own product and business operations. Merchants who use BAQI may collect customer information through their own storefronts, and those merchants are responsible for publishing and following their own customer-facing privacy notices.

Information we collect

BAQI collects account and profile information such as your name, email address, login identifiers, store name, subscription status, and settings you save inside the platform. If you contact BAQI, we also collect the contents of the message and any details you provide so the team can respond.

BAQI also collects operational and diagnostic data needed to run the service. That can include IP-derived location data, device type, referrer information, page paths, event timestamps, session or visitor identifiers stored in local storage or cookies, and billing or subscription metadata from payment providers.

If you connect third-party services such as Stripe or analytics tools, BAQI may receive the limited information necessary to complete the integration, show status inside the dashboard, prevent fraud, and maintain records of account changes or admin actions.

How we use information

BAQI uses personal information to create and secure accounts, provide store-building features, process subscriptions, troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, prevent abuse, and communicate service updates. Analytics data is used to understand adoption, funnel performance, onboarding completion, and product reliability.

BAQI may also use information to enforce platform rules, investigate suspicious activity, comply with legal obligations, and improve templates, workflows, and support documentation. BAQI does not sell personal information in exchange for money.

Cookies, identifiers, and analytics

BAQI uses a mixture of cookies, local storage values, and server-side logs to maintain sessions, remember consent choices, attribute visits, and understand how the BAQI product and marketing site are used. Some of these technologies are essential to authentication, admin access control, and platform security.

Examples visible in the product today include consent-state cookies, visitor identifiers used for referral or analytics flows, and event logs used to measure visits, clicks, scrolling, onboarding progress, and related funnel metrics. More detail appears in the Cookie Policy.

How information is shared

BAQI shares information with service providers only where needed to operate the platform, such as hosting, infrastructure, email delivery, authentication, database, payment, and support tooling providers. Those providers are expected to process information only for permitted business purposes.

Information may also be disclosed if reasonably necessary to protect BAQI, its users, or the public; to investigate fraud or security incidents; or to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or valid governmental request.

Data retention

BAQI retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and financial records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet security or legal obligations. Different categories of information may be retained for different periods depending on operational need.

When information is no longer needed for these purposes, BAQI aims to delete it or de-identify it, subject to backup, archival, fraud-prevention, and compliance constraints.

Your choices and rights

You can update certain account details directly inside BAQI. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection with respect to personal information BAQI controls.

Merchants remain responsible for handling customer privacy requests relating to data they collect through their own storefronts. For requests relating to BAQI-controlled information, use the contact route below and include enough detail for the team to verify and process the request.

Security

BAQI uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No system can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their credentials, use strong passwords, and limit dashboard access to trusted team members.

International use and policy changes

BAQI may process information in countries other than the one in which a user is located. If BAQI updates this policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes may also be highlighted through the product or by email where appropriate.

Contact about privacy

Privacy questions, data access requests, and deletion requests can be sent through the BAQI contact page. Include the account email, store name if relevant, and the nature of the request so the team can respond accurately.
